1 1/8 cups warm water
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup bread flour
2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)
1 packet active dry yeast
Option 1:
Add ingredients according to manufacturer's directions for your bread machine. Use the wheat bread cycle and light color setting.
Option 2:
Add ingredients according to manufacturer's directions for your bread machine. Use dough cycle. When machine is finished, punch down the down and transfer to a greased loaf pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise (about 45 minutes). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. I like to brush the loaf with melted butter when it comes out of the oven.
I make this bread alot. This is my variation but you can click here for the original recipe.
For I have learned to be content in any circumstance. I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment, whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing. I am able to do all things through the one who strengthens me.
